Features:-

Mobile Almanac has wide range of features to meet your daily criteria and employing the pwoer of your Smart Phone you can all the Panjika Info. Aspicious Times, Festival Dates, Holidays, Birth Chart Instantly, Accurately without the need of Printed Almanac. Most Amazing is with your hone you can calculate those with extreme accuracy and much much precise than the Almanac Available in the market.

Apart from Astrological purpose, this handhelp application is suitable for Astronomical Research Fields and Archaeoastronomy. It can produce detailed eclipse timings with all phenomenon from 3000 BC to 3000 AD total 6000 years date range with extreme accuracy and +-0.01 seconds with NASA's Report. Also it can produce hghly accurate Ephemeris of all solar system objects and occultations (on request feature).

* Tithi - Display Current Moon Phase ( called Tithi ) with Start / End timines for any date / times.

* Display Next Purnima, Amabasya (Full Moon & New Moon) with start / end timings.

* Nakshatra - Display Star ( Nakshatra) wit start / end time for any date / time.

* Rashi - Display the Rashi ( Moon Zodiac Sign ) with Entry Exit Moments.

* Sun Sign with entry exit times.

* Display The Bangla Calendar Date / Year ( called Bangabda ) , Day. if any Special Events such as Trahyasparsa, Moolmaas / Adhkik Maas with Start / End Moments. The Calculation fully comparable with Driksiddha Method or Bisuddhanta Method.

* For Calculation of Bangla Date, Festival Dates, Trahyasparsa, Molmaas etc. the Rise / Set of Sun is taken for place at 22°35' North latitude and 88°22.6' East Longitude to meet the Bisuddha Siddhanta rules in Bengal. However, there is also provision to take Rise / Set for the central point of India at Ujjaini to meet the Rastriya Panchanga Calculation Method. For such purpose, Astrological Rise / Set i.e. the Rise / Set of the Center of the Solar Disc is Calculated without Refraction. However, such Rise / Set are taken for Astrological Calculations and Determining the festival dates only.

* For Rise / Set Report provided seperately, true Astronomical Rise / Set is calculated, i.e. the Rise of the Upper Limb of The Object and Set of the Lower Limb of The object is taken and all the correction such as Refraction / Abberation is taken to get the true Rise / Set of the Heavenly Bodies.

* Highly Accurate True Lahiri Ayanmsa is used. However, on request we can provide any other Ayanmsa system.

* We use NASA's JPL DE406 ephemeris in a highly compressed format with some interpolations, Chapront Moon ELP-2000/82 for Lunar Ephemeris, The value used for the Moon's n-dot is -25.858 ["/cy2] (Last proved from Moon Laser Test) and ΔT from Morrison/Stephenson, using Espenak's (NASA) own polynomal description which are known as latest and most correct formula right now. Our Software Reports fully tallies with Bisuddhanta Siddhanta / Driksiddha Panjika and Rastriya Panchanga Published by Govt. of India.

* Can Calculate The coming Festival Dates / Holidays for any year from 3000 BC to 3000 AD.

* Can Produce Graphical Birth Chart ( Called Zodiac wheel ) with all the planets including Nodes of Moon called rahu and Ketu along with extra Uranus, Neptune, Pluto positions.

* Can Produce Barycentric, Holocentric, Geocentric, Tropocentric highly accurate Astronomical Ephemeris and is suitable for Scientific Purpose.

Date of Eclipse, Type of Eclipse,
Detailed Level of Timings of Begining / End of Partial Eclipse, Begining / End of Tatality.
Time of Max Eclipse, Geographical Latitude / Longitude of Maximum Eclipse.
Ratio of Lunar to Solar Diameter, Fraction of Sun disc covered by moon (obscuratio),
Diameter of Core Shadow in kilometer, angular distance of sun and moon.

Detailed of Lunar Eclipses including timings of partial / total / Pneumbral magnitude etc.

Wide date range for calculation from 3000 BC to 3000 AD
automatic conversion of internal calendar system from Georgian to Julian before 15th october, 1582.

if u want the BC range, input the year in astronomical year, i.e. for BC 1235, u should enter year as -1234 (one difference)..

what’s most amazing is its accuracy, and extremely suitable for historycal phenomenon research i.e. for Archaeoastronomy..
the report are fully comparable with NASA's report
as an example for the solar eclipse on 01/08/2008

the NASA bulletin shows the time of Max eclipse as 10:22:12.1 Terrestrial Dynamical Time and ΔT = 65.6 s, so to get actual GMT time subtract delta t from TDT, and we are getting time of max. eclipse 10:21:6.5, see the link.
http://sunearth.gsfc.nasa.gov/eclips...8-Table02a.pdf

from the screen shot of my software u can see the time of max. eclipse as 10:21:6.66am
